Beatrice Dama Kahindi is the Head of Presenters and main host of the long-running Breakfast show "Voroni Enehu" for 13 years. As a Mijikenda peace and cultural ambassador, having won an award in 2018 for her exemplary effort in championing socio-economic development goals specific to the Girl child. She also passionately promotes Mijikenda values and culture worldwide.
Dama's vibrant presence extends to Radio Kaya events, where she serves as the main host and fluent news reading skills in the Giriama language, as well as contributing to the marketing department. Her exceptional skills have earned her the title of Best Mijikenda Presenter at the coast. With a degree from Mt. Kenya University and a Mass Communication diploma from Nairobi Aviation College, Dama leads the Radio CSR events and garners a dedicated following among Radio Kaya listeners. She has actively participated in workshops by BBC Media Action on nutrition, AMWIK in gender reporting, and DW on social media and digital content.
Off-air, Dama enjoys dancing, playing hockey, and cheering for Manchester United. Her favourite dishes are Chapati and Kuku Kienyeji.
